a new lingerie bag, for man!

I sewed something a little unexpected: a pouch to carry men's underwear!

To make it as masculine as possible, I used some suit fabric in grey with a subtle blue plaid,

but I added a flowery pair of boxers (in Liberty of London!)

Over the years, I have made many lingerie bags, for ladies: 

1-linen and lavender bag, 2- laundry bag, 3- mes dessous bag. 4-green bag, 5-  linen/mushroom bag, and 6- linen/hedgehog bag.

So this one is definitively different, a lot simpler. I also did not line it to keep it from taking too much space. I used French seams so there are no raw edges inside, it is actually quite neat, and very light.

to complete the bag,

I love making the drawstring part this way....

I like it so much that I might make one for myself,

(with a different applique, of course!)

even if the wool was harder to sew than cotton.
