vintage dress mini quilt


I sewed a Liberty of London dress!
Well not really, but it is a dress, and it is made of Liberty of London,
but it is paper pieced mini quilt!

It is a slightly unusual pattern for a Liberty of London,
 but I thought it was perfect for a little dress,
and the little green/turquoise was the perfect accent to that print.

The block is a free pattern on the splendid sampler,
it was designed by Charise Creates.
I am a big fan of hers, I had already made a dressform


and a sewing machine from her patterns.

I think it turned out just lovely.
It was the perfect small quilting project for a busy summer!
