baby K.

A couple weeks ago,
I became an aunt for the first time!
I am pretty excited,
I do not know when I will get to meet
my niece, but I already know she is cute!

To celebrate her birth,
I made her a little bib,
similar to the ones I made here.

I used the same pattern,
with white linen and off white chenille,
and appliqued some aqua gingham,
a sweet little girl from some Japanese fabric
and a little K from some floral print.

I think it turned out quite cute!.

I am also sending this beautiful heirloom blanket

that I made last year,
(here and here).
It will be nice to see an actual baby in it!
(last time I had to use of one Miss C.'s baby!)

I am still not buying fabric....
I have enough fabric for quite a few more bibs!
Keeping strong!

Happy sewing!
