Day 6 and day 7 : Apron and accessories

Let's review the advent calendar list of goodies so far: day 1: fireplace day 2,3: decorations and stockings  day 4,5: casual holiday outfit And now:

Miss C. received an apron, a towel and an oven mitt.

The pattern I used to make the apron and accessories is McCall's pattern 6451, the apron is quite clever, as the ribbon around her neck also ties in the back, making it easier to pass around the doll's large head.

The mitt is quilted, the towel is made of quilting fabric with a band that matches  the apron pocket. The pompom trim adds the perfect amount of whimsy! Now that the advent calendar is looking a little naked, we are using it to display the Christmas cards.
