Day 4 and Day 5: T-shirt and mini skirt

With the room looking more and more festive,
Saige needed a new outfit to get ready for the holidays.
She is a casual girl like Miss C.
and enjoys nothing more than t-shirt and jeans.
Of course I put a little spin on the traditional tween outfit:
shiny t-shirt and denim mini skirt.
The t-shirt was made from one of Miss C.'s favorite shirt,
a nice white cotton with thin gold stripes.
I used  the baseball tee pattern from Liberty Jane,
an easy top to sew.
The mini skirt was made from an old pair of jeans, with a nice stretch.
Once again I used a pattern from Liberty Jane: denim mini skirt.
For the last few months, on Fridays, there is a free pattern on Pixie Faire,
so I have been collecting them for a while,
sometimes the free ones are patterns that I have already purchased,
but overall it has been great getting extra patterns.
The skirts was very easy to make,
I liked adding all the top stitching details,
it makes it look very realistic.
Now Saige has a nice casual holiday outfit,
ready for what might come next!
Happy sewing!
Reality check:
Miss C. has been having fun playing in the set-up scene,
and has added her own touch to it,
(after all it is her toys, no just my blogging experience!)
Saige camps by the fireplace with her dog.
